A 5k Run/Walk and free kids run to promote Fire Prevention Month and Fire Safety/Awareness hosted by the Orion Township Fire Department. The 5k will start and finish in front of Orion Fire Station #1 and the course will take you through Children's Park and along the Paint Creek Trail. Fire prevention safety tips and free kids run to follow the 5k. Medals to the top finishers in each age group. Special trophy to the top performing fire department and top fire-fighter finishers. All proceeds to benefit the Orion Township Firefighters Good Fellows.
Free Kids Run to take place at the conclusion of the 5k and participants do not need to pre-register except if they would like to purchase a shirt.
