On Friday, you will have a rider’s meeting at 6pm at Pedaler's Pub. We will have a short ride at 4 pm around the great town of Bentonville and show off its secret beauty.
Saturdays Event: GPP GROWLER GRINDER will be bringing our love for gravel to Bentonville for the third year. We are so excited about this event to share our passion for gravel with you. Blanketing the colorful hills of the Ozarks in Northwest Arkansas are hundreds of miles of unpaved and gravel farm roads that feature little to no motor traffic. Scattered about the rolling hills of the area, the course offers great views of the Ozarks throughout Benton and Washington county along with crossing over into surrounding states. The course also features an assortment of civil-war era buildings, barns, and houses from the late 1800’s. Expect average temperatures to be in the mid 50’s by race start and up into the mid 70’s by the midday peak. Gravel sections are well packed, smooth and fast with some wash board wash out portions. The course will be different this year. There will be a 6.5 mile lead out of town to the gravel. 100k and 100-mile courses will be marked, and cue sheets will be provided. We strongly suggest downloading the maps, we will have staff available to help you do it if needed.
Saturday morning at 7:30am, there is a mandatory race meeting and check-in at race start. Upon finishing, you will receive a GPP Growler and a patch for your accomplishment filled with FREE BEER from Bike Rack Brewing. Pedaler’s Pub will be providing a LIVE band and free food.
