Hubbard Lake, Hubbard Lake, MI
This event is for the adventurous, Michigan-loving athletes. Located in Northeast, Michigan on Hubbard Lake, this event offers a view and race experience like no other. Hubbard Lake being the 4th largest shoreline distance lake in Michigan offers a beautiful, unforgettable view for the entire event. This event offers an Olympic and sprint distance triathlon, with relay options and of course the Hubbard Lake Cycling Road Race. The excitement takes place August 5th, 2017.
The race will start at Hubbard Lake North End park 1700 Monica Dr, Hubbard Lake, MI 49747, just off Hubert Road. There will be limited parking on race day at the North End Park. We will be allowing the 1st 60 cars into the lot. Overflow parking will be at the Storage area next to the gas station (across the street from the park). Please DO NOT park in the spots for the gas station! There will also be limited parking at the Farmers Market (at the community center).
All proceeds from the race will go towards "The Chosen Ranch" which is a Christian Home in Alcona County. The Chosen Ranch gives abused, abandoned, neglected and homeless children a home! All of us, each and every one of us, knows that there are children out there that are being horribly abused and neglected. Chosen Ranch is not a foster or temporary home. It is a permanent home for these children. When they come to the ranch, they are, above all else, loved. They come to the ranch with nothing, and become a part of our family as soon as they walk in the door. The Chosen Ranch is a not for profit program, therefore is entirely dependent on the generosity of others. Repairs, renovations and other tasks have been completed and the Chosen Ranch is now occupied!
An event t-shirt is included in registration fee until July 26. T-shirts may be purchased at the event while supplies last.
