Come be a part of this 5K run dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Huntington's Disease, a genetic disorder that affects movement, cognition, and behavior. This run was created to honor Marcella Main, a beloved mother who served in children’s ministry as a teacher, was part of the church choir, and contributed to women’s ministry. Marcella had one daughter, Marsha, who married Euel Bilderback; they currently pastor Mercy & Grace, where Marcella is a member. She is a devoted servant of the Kingdom of God whose life has been impacted by this horrible illness.
For 18 years, Marcella has faced Huntington's with admirable strength and has been supported by her family and church. She has seen the disease take her brother, niece, and nephew before the age of 40; yet she continues to show such positivity and hope. Her family has watched her physically deteriorate, but she remains a source of inspiration, speaking life and encouraging those around her.
Her resilience keeps those around her in awe. Come join us to raise awareness, support research, and inspire hope for families affected by Huntington's Disease. Join us in honoring Marcella and all those who are fighting this battle.
